The new year of 2020 is bringing  Chavez High school their first ever Winterfest. It is a mid year dance that is themed on the schools mascot of Greek mythology. On Saturday, February 1st from 7:00- 10:00 pm. Tickets will sold in the student store for $10. There will be a Winterfest Royalty as well, similar to homecoming traditions. At the Winterfest a God and Goddess from each class, 3 girls and 3 boys, will be crowned at the dance. There is also the Winterfest spirit week in the theme Greek mythology on January 27-31. The spirit week days will are:

• Monday: NIKE  (Athletic Wear)
• Tuesday: APOLLO+ARTEMIS (Twin Day)
• Wednesday: APHRODITE (Wear red+pink)
• Thursday: IRIS (Class Colors)
• Friday: KRONOS ( Titian Day)
