Nisa Shinagawa has been a nurse for almost a decade and she has been at Cesar Chavez High School for two years. In her personal experiences with Chavez, she enjoys the communication, activities, and the school’s spirit. She has dealt with emergencies, helped kids with procedures, and helped the students who had been injured due to the rising heat of the previous week.
She is passionate about school as well as doing workouts during her time. In her experience of becoming a nurse, she went to Sacramento State for her undergraduate and master’s degrees. In her youth, she went to Lincoln High School and her personal thoughts were that it was good overall.
One quote that she uses is “Only when diverse perspectives are included, respected, and valued can we start to get a full picture of the world,” from Brené Brown. Thank you Ms. Shinagawa for your service as well as your team to ensure the well-being of everyone in our school.
