Emad Khan or as we Titans know him, Mr.Khan, is an English teacher here at Chavez. Mr.Khan has been teaching here out in the M-wing since 2021.

He attended San Joaquin Delta College and the University of the Pacific where he majored in English and minored in Ethnic Studies. 

When Emad was in High School he loved to draw and hang out with pets as he had none. He said “I used to ask people if they wanted to hang out and I’d just be with the pet instead of them. I also tagged my teacher’s desk a lot as well as drew on the whiteboard.” 

The best advice Mr.Khan was ever given came from an unlikely place. It came from an old guy on the bus. That advice was “Always try to see the good in other people, even if they can’t see it themselves try to see it in them for yourself.” This advice made a young Mr.Khan open up to people about the real him. 

His best advice for students is to “Let Time have its time. Life isn’t fair, we don’t have control over everything. Take control over what you can control. You have the power to make changes, grow, and improve the world around you. You can’t change everything, but the things we can change, you should for your community, your loved ones, and most importantly yourself.” 

Mr.Khan is a big fan of Professional Wrestling and If he could have a match with one wrestler he would choose Seth Rollins because he wants the match that steals the show and everyone remembers.
