Purpose of the club: 

The purpose of the MAH Club is to explore, celebrate, and promote Mexican Americans’ rich cultural heritage and contributions throughout history. By fostering a deeper understanding of our shared experiences, we aim to create a supportive community that encourages dialogue, education, and advocacy for social justice. Through events, discussions, and outreach, we seek to honor our past while inspiring future generations to engage with their identity and history.

Gabriel Serrano, the President of the Mexican American History Club, said, “People should join the Mexican American History Club because it helps you get a better understanding of Mexican Culture and where everything originates from. We aim to create a supportive community that encourages dialogue, education, and advocacy for social justice.”

Dominic Bautista, the VP, said, “People should join to learn about our Background and heritage and how our culture got to be great as it is.” Samuel said, “ He joined M.A.H. because it was interesting.”

My experience:

My experience with the Mexican American History Club was very good. It may be a small group, but it helped me learn more about our culture. I am hopeful we can have another meeting.
