Hello everyone, I am Felix Saavedra, and I use the internet every day. From the time I wake up to the time I go to bed, I am constantly on the internet. I get on twitter and Facebook before I even get out of bed every morning. It’s a good way to stay connected to what’s going on with your friends, to stay connected to what’s going on around the world. It still amazes me that it doesn’t matter how far the person is, hundreds or thousands of miles away, you can connect with them in just a second. From Face time and Google hangouts to iMessage and what’s app, Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube. There are so many ways to stay connected, it’s addicting. If the internet were to go down, I wouldn’t know what to do with my life, and I’m sure others feel the same. Google, anything you need to know just search it and the information will appear in just a few seconds. Can you imagine how the people from the early 1900’s would react to such a great technology? There is no need to go looking through a big book to find out the information, anything you need to know in the tip of your fingers with the current smartphones/tablets we have today from Apple, Microsoft or Google. I don’t know what I am going to be after high school, or after my first job, but I do know what I will be using when I do find whatever it is my career will be, the internet. Every job now requires the internet, there is no escape from it and that’s great. It makes the work easier, more fun and yet so simple. My question to you is, can you picture the world today without the internet?
