“I Dream of Jeannie” is an American sitcom that took place in Cape Kennedy, Florida and aired between September 1965 to May 1970.The show  starred Barbara Eden, Larry Hagmon,  and Tony  Nelson.

“I Dream of Jeannie” was based on a story about a United States astronaut (Tony Nelson), who is sent on a space mission, but ends up lost at sea. There pilot finds a bottle with a 2000 – a year old genie in it. The genie wanted to help the pilot because he now became her master…so he wished for a helicopter and There it was. She snuck in his bag when he was being rescued so now there stuck together for ever!

The purpose of the show is to give the idea of how two different people with totally different lives can come together . My opinion of the show is that its a very good and funny show, between Barbara Eden and Tony Nelson this show will keep you entertained. I recommend this show to any older than 15 and likes a good inappropriate laugh!
