In-Or-Out?
Could In-N-Out possibly be the most reasonable, and top restaurant in Stockton?
There are many delicious restaurants that serve their customers full meals that could feed a bear’s family, as well as served with bright smiles and grade A customer satisfaction. Sure, there are big fancy restaurants like BJ’s, The Elephant Bar and Buffalo Wild Wings, but there is one restaurant that tops them all, which also comes along with an affordable/reasonable price. In–N–Out®.
In-Or-Out, is a restaurant that was first founded in Baldwin Park, California by Harry Snyder in 1948 along with his wife, Esther Snyder. Let’s speed up the time a few years ahead and the current and most new owner of the restaurant is Lynsi Snyder, who is the one and only grandchild of the Snyders. A chain of these restaurants can be found in the American Southwest. Slowly throughout the many years, In-N-Out has expanded their successful restaurant over the rest of the state, as well as Utah, Nevada, Texas and Arizona.
To expand their multimillion dollar restaurant, by January 7 of 2015, In-N-Out has employed over 18,000 brand new employees. Which makes their restaurant more successful, is that recently, there are now new In-N-Out facilities that can be located in Lathrop, California; Phoenix, Arizona; Draper, Utah; Dallas, Texas; and Medford Oregon. Many more facilities will be included in future expansion in the country.
Many people enjoy In-N-Out and prefer it more than other restaurants. As stated on their website, “Our commitment to quality starts with our hamburgers. And our burgers begin with our patties. We make them from fresh, 100% pure beef. They are free of additives, fillers and preservatives of any kind. But the focus on quality starts well before we deliver our hamburger patties to our stores. We own and operate our own patty-making facilities in Baldwin Park, California; Lathrop, California and Dallas, Texas. Since we only serve burgers, fries and drinks, making a high-quality hamburger patty is everything to us.” (Website link will be available below.)
To give customers more of an ‘undercover menu’ if you will, In-N-Out gives their customers a Not-So-Secret menu. Over my understanding and many other consumers, their secret menu is quite the meal. According to the menu, the list goes as: Double Meat, 3 x 3®, 4 x 4®, Grilled Cheese, Protein® Style and Animal® Style. Some of the customers top choices for the Not-So-Secret menu, are the Animal Style, 3 x 3 and the 4 x 4.
In-N-Out goes has a more retro-feel, which is much different from any other restaurant. Their traditional colors go as: red, yellow and white. While the white color is used for the exterior walls, the red is used for the building’s roof as well as the employee’s aprons and hats. Then to top it all off, the yellow is used for the decorative iconic zig-zag emblem on the In-N-Out sign. The original design of the infamous restaurant; the kitchen ‘stand’ was set between the two lanes of cars. Also, a big difference from how the restaurant is designed, there used to be no inside dining, instead there were awnings which included shade and several benches for people who wish to enjoy their meal outside, as well as places for cars to park out and eat if they desired. Now, the design that the newer and more present day In-N-Out’s have are simply what they call “cookie-cutter” blueprints. Sounds silly right? Cookie cutter blueprints, are templates based on the amount of space in that certain area and expected traffic activity.
Overall, with In-N-Out’s customer hospitality and infamous burgers, they provide great benefits! For example, regular part-time employees will get paid holidays such as Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas. Even more better, is that full-time associates are their eligible dependents are offered a package of medical, vision and and dental benefits. To conclude this, if you’re ever in need of a job and you have wonderful communication & can work as a team, consider applying to In-N-Out!
