Gossip Girl is a drama about the exposition of wealthy rich families pre-destined for Ivy League Schools. However, for these teens it isn’t just hitting the books, it’s also with them hitting the sheets. (If you know what I mean). Gossip Girl is a whirlwind of excitement and drama. Something you can binge watch when you know you are supposed to be doing homework. You can catch this show on Netflix or occasionally on Xfinity as reruns.

Episode 1

The pilot begins with main character Serena Van Der Woodsen arriving home from boarding school. Dan spots her at the train station. Suddenly, word is out and she is back. Her return reasons are a secret, but it might be connected to her brother in the mental institution. It is a major shocker for Manhattan, especially her best friend, Blair Waldorf. This rekindling of their friendship is short because Nate admits sleeping with Serena, to Blair. Distraught, Selena and Blair’s friendship is jeopardized. Will their friendship be reconciled? Will Serena get with Nate, or Dan? Is Serena’s brother okay? Watch to find out.

Character Description

Blake Lively as Serena Van Der Woodsen. She is a spunky teenager, who is full of surprises. She is basically idolized by all of the boys.

Leighton Meester as Blair Waldorf. Blair is the epitome of malicious and vindictive behavior. She dates Nate, but has suspicions of his fidelity, leading into her very cynical nature.

Penn Badgley as Dan Humphrey. Dan is in a way a social outcast to the group, but is in love with Serena.

Chace Crawford as Nate Archibald. Nate plays as Chuck’s best friend, Blair’s boyfriend, and Serena’s behind-closed-doors lover.

Ed westwick as Chuck Bass. Chuck is the player in this mix. He has sex with basically anybody with a pulse.
