If dancing is your thing, then Chavez also has a club for you, so don’t be shy. The CCHS Dance Club meets on Mondays and Wednesdays in the dance room after school to not only dance, but to raise funds for supplies and events of the Chavez Dance Team.  Every week the club meets twice to discuss upcoming fundraising opportunities or to us the time to better themselves as dancers.  Not only is open to dancers on campus, but also to any student that is a member of our school.  If you  have been on the fence in joining a club, then be willing to give dance a try. Their are minimal requirements to join a club, however the president of dance club states that “Being confident and just having fun, ” would be great things to bring with you.  Throughout the year CCHS Dance will also have many fundraising opportunities such as selling different goods throughout the year. This year they have already sold See’s Candy, Chocolate Bars, and more. The money and fundraising benefits Dance club by allowing them to buy new dance shirts, costumes, and anything else needed for the Dance shows or the club. Dance is an amazing opportunity to have a good time with friends and possibly make some more.
