When seeing the word Kombat, the thought that comes to mind are Mortals fighting. Normally with fighting, you’d consider boxing or mixed martial arts. However, if you find yourself fighting sorcerers, demigods, ninjas, and spirits of vengeance you have entered the world of Mortal Kombat.

On December 6, 2018 the Game Awards were held which honored the most popular games of the year. Many companies also entered in some previews and trailers for brand new upcoming games. One of these trailers was from Nether Realm Studios introducing the world to Mortal Kombat 11. The trailer consisted of characters fighting each other with blood and gore which there was plenty of. Then there were the hints of the revamped game play and weapon use. The trailer showcased new weapons, new moves and combos, and new costumes for characters.  The global launch is scheduled for April 23, 2019 while there will be a community reveal event on January 17, 2019. The game is already available to preorder and when preordered you gain early access and Shao Kahn, an emperor of power.

Mortal Kombat has always been a good series of fighting against opponents whether they be online or right next to you. This game will have so much to offer and will be including new characters such as the rumored appearance of Todd McFarlane’s Spawn. So be prepared to duel with whichever character you choose and be prepared to fight.
