Apex Legends is an unique battle royale, that contains elements from other popular games. You will start in a type of aircraft in the sky with other people in your party and then drop down to the map; which has been an iconic feature from another battle royale game, Fortnite. You also have certain abilities, a passive ability, and one ultimate ability depending on the character you had chosen to play which is a core feature from the game Overwatch. The ultimate ability can range from healing people, poisoning enemies, going invisible, and more yet to be discovered.

The game will have you in an aircraft with three other people, then will allow you to drop down onto the map. After you drop onto your desired location, you will be set into a 1st person view as you scurry around to find a weapon to defend yourself with. Once this phase is complete, you will then have to fight and become the last person standing in order to declare yourself the winner of the battle royale.
