In October 2014, she signed a contract with WWE and was assigned to the WWE Performance Center and then-developmental brand, NXT. A decade ago, the WWE’s Women’s Division was known as the Divas Division, and although it featured some women who could actually wrestle, the majority of the women were there for their looks. Thankfully, things have changed for the better, as the term Diva has been erased from the company’s vocabulary, and the majority of the women that we now see on TV have years of actual wrestling experience under their belts.

Liv has been with WWE for more than 5 years, but like every other superstar, she had a life before wrestling, and that life constantly forced her to stay in shape. As a teenager, Liv was a cheerleader, but when she left school, she had several jobs, which included being a model and a Hooters waitress.

WWE superstars are human beings, which means that they get into romantic relationships with other people, and quite a few get involved with other wrestlers. Liv used to date former superstar Enzo Amore, and their relationship started before she signed her NXT contract, but she ended things a few years ago when she believed he was cheating on her.

Morgan has the potential to become Women’s Champion in the future, but there are still many facts about the former NXT star that are not publicly known.

Liv grew up with five siblings, and they were all fans of wrestling and the WWE, so much so that they went ahead and built their own makeshift ring in their backyard. It is wise to not try wrestling moves at home, but Liv was not concerned with her safety apparently because as a kid, she would take full-on powerbombs and pedigrees in that ring.

On April 16, Morgan was moved to the SmackDown brand as part of the Superstar Shake-up, effectively dissolving The Riott Squad in the process. On the July 16 episode of SmackDown Live, Morgan turned face when she confronted Charlotte Flair and faced her in a match, in which Morgan lost by submission. This was her first match outside of house shows since WrestleMania 35 in April.

Rocking a snapback, a pair of Jordans and a mischievous smile, Liv Morgan is as unique and authentic inside the ring as her gear might suggest. As a member of Raw Women’s division, Liv has realizing her lifelong dream of becoming a Superstar, a goal that took root in a makeshift ring that she and her brothers constructed in their family’s backyard in New Jersey.

A former competitive cheerleader, Liv boasts a combination of agility and creativity once the bell rings, but she’s not afraid to scrap, either.

Looking to make her friends and family back in the 201 area code proud, Liv represents New Jersey to the fullest and refuses to back down from a fight. After making a name for herself on NXT, Morgan suddenly emerged on the Nov. 21 edition of SmackDown LIVE, alongside Ruby Riott & Sarah Logan, to systematically lay waste to SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte, Natalya, Becky Lynch and Naomi. Then, the 2018 Superstar Shake-up brought her to Raw, and there is no telling what sort of damage she will unleash on Monday night.
