Phineas and Ferb are coming back!
Phineas and Ferb, one of Disney’s best-animated kid’s shows was a masterpiece, revolving around a bunch of kids on summer break making crazy inventions while a platypus was stopping a pharmacist from attempting to take over the tri-state area in “Danville”. It premiered in 2008 with a movie coming out in 2011.
But as usual, great things always come to an end as this show ended in 2015 with a spectacular but sad episode capping off one of Disney’s best animations.
This series was incredible. It had very funny and heartwarming moments with great crossovers involving Marvel and Star Wars across its original run.
The creators of Phineas and Ferb made a second show after their original show ended called “Milo Murphy’s Law.” This follow-up show ended up flopping so hard that hardly anybody remembers it even existed. It was an extreme letdown for Phineas and Ferb fans. The new show only lasted 3 years.
Then in 2020, Disney released another Phineas and Ferb movie called “Candace Against the Universe” and it revived so many memories from the show and was a huge hit.
Then in 2023 we just received wonderful news from the creators of Phineas and Ferb that they will be making 2 new seasons with at least 40 or more episodes coming our way. No specific date was put out, but it will be showing on Disney+ as well as all the different Disney channels.
Dan Povenmire, one of the creators said “It has been the greatest pleasure of my career to see how an entire generation of kids and parents have embraced the characters and the humor of Phineas and Ferb” and “I’m eagerly looking forward to diving back into the show for them and for a whole new generation.”
