An Experience at Sick New World
I recently went to the Sick New World Concert in Las Vegas and had a great time. I will be talking about my experience and things that happened at a concert of this size.
There were around 50+ bands that performed at this concert and the tickets for it sold out quickly, it was a big event. There were four stages at the Las Vegas Festival Fairgrounds and tons of people with long lines for most things.
It was around 90 degrees that day, so we had to drink a lot of water to stay hydrated. I saw a couple of people passed out and carried to the medical tents. Luckily, me and my family didn’t have any problems, we did have to miss two bands we wanted to see because we needed a break though. We were there from 11 A.M. to 11 P.M. on one day.
There was shade around the fairgrounds that had mist and fans, but they would get too crowded and there wasn’t enough for everyone. There was food but everything was super expensive and the lines for the merch were beyond long as previously stated. Despite all the walking and the heat, we still enjoyed the bands that performed.
The performances we got to see were Alien Ant Farm, P.O.D., FlyLeaf, Papa Roach, Filter, Incubus, Deftones, Korn, and System of a Down. Out of all of these bands, my favorite performance was the Deftones. The music from all of these bands was fantastic and loud and I would go see most of these bands again.
There were big mosh pits and a lot of crowd surfing. We stayed in the back to not get too close to the chaos in the front. We had a decent spot where we could see, and there were big screens on the sides of the stage to help us see the bands, which was cool. There were big speakers around the stage area, and they were very loud. The lights helped with the aesthetics of the bands.
I’m working on the videos from the concert, they will be on my channel during summer break.
