This week the paparazzi shared many photos of the outfits that were worn to the Met Gala 2024. The Met is known to be out of the ordinary to bring attention to the museum, and just to have fashion as the main topic. Just like usual, there were questionable options that left people wondering, why was this a choice, or does this even fall under the dress code.

There was a lot of build-up to whether or not the previous years’ outfits would be topped. Unfortunately, we couldn’t see one of the Met’s favorite guests, Rihanna due to the last-minute departure because of illness. Although, we still had some favorites.

A favorite this year that has received a lot of media attention was Zendaya. She first came in a blue, floral, elegant dress with a matching headpiece. Everyone was astonished by her arrival, but her longtime designer, Law Roach, came with another outfit later that evening. Going from an inspired 1999 Dior piece to a 1996 piece by Givenchy. This was a time that would be left in Met Gala archives.

Next, is one of the best-dressed guys. The Met has had a lot of guys who have nothing fashionable, mainly just a plain suit. This had a large backlash because of how boring it seemed for a place like the Met Gala. Bad Bunny came dressed in custom Maison Margiela. A black suit with white and red detailing, with the right amount of accessories that makes him stand out on the carpet.

Another that received lots of love was the look from Gigi Hadid, the well-known supermodel. She arrived in Tom Browne and Chopard’s take on the theme of “Garden of Times”. A long elegant white gown with floral details.
