The first teaser trailer for Shrek 5 has happened and everybody hates the new redesigns for Shrek himself. Shrek’s redesign looks a bit polished and more modern to movies, but people hate it because they missed the original design for the Shrek movie series. Many people even compared this to the Sonic situation in 2019. Sonic the Hedgehog’s official TikTok page has suggested redesigning the character even.
We will see if DreamWorks listens to the fans or keeps the redesign, so we must get used to it. There are still over two years left, so we shall see what happens.
