Aired on NBC for five seasons. It was show based on the daily lives of different high school students attending Bayside and it was named as one of the best 20 school TV shows by AOL TV. The main cast were Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Dustin Diamond, Lark Voorhies, Dennis Haskins, Tiffani-Amber Thiessen, Elizabeth Berkley, and Mario Lopez. The show also had two spin offs called Saved by the Bell: The College Years where the main cast goes into college and Saved by the Bell: The New Class where a new group of students go into the school.

Saved by the Bell was chosen as one of the spirit days for homecoming week because the theme for homecoming was High School Cliches. This spirit day took place on September 23rd. It’s a relatable spirit day to the theme considering that the show takes place in high school during the 90’s. It was a fun day to dress up because it was easy to find similar clothing as the characters in the show. Many people dressed up as a certain characters in the show or they would try to find bright colors from the 90’s that they could wear for the spirit day. The A- building was decorated with posters for each spirit day. For Saved by the Bell, a certain section was decorated with random shapes and had the cafe’s name on the wall. It was also decorated with lockers to represent the high school in the show and it had the title of the show posted on the wall. Many people took pictures next to the decorated walls and many people dressed up for this spirit day.
