This past Friday CCHS welcomed back alumni for their annual homecoming game. Although this years homecoming game did not turn out the way CCHS alum and athletes had hoped for, two Chavez student did receive the cheers of the sold out crowd. Those two student were none other than seniors Servaughn Galloway and Jaynesha Reese. The students were named homecoming king and queen respectively, during the halftime awards ceremony of the homecoming football game. School principal Mr. Nelson was the personal chauffeur of the royal court as he drove them out in a decorated cart to their rightful place in front of a cheering crowd.
