Easy Thanksgiving Desserts
If you love a warm holiday friendly dessert and baking as much as I do, this is the article for you! This Thanksgiving lets put more treats to the table and explore the baking world. After we all have a great dinner with a variety of all kinds of foods we will be yearning for a dessert. We have all had said this at least once after a big meal, “Ohhh, I want something sweet now.” Lets switch it though because we don’t want that sad, store bought, pumpkin pie that’s sitting there waiting to be served. So take a look and maybe give one of these sweet and easy treats a try!
- Bloomin’ Apples – Heard of the popular bloomin’ onion, this is a sweet take on that. Just like the onions, you cut all around the apples, coat with a mixture of melted butter with cinnamon and brown sugar. Lastly fill with caramel and throw in the oven but watch carefully because apples can brown easily. You can top with more caramel and ice cream.
- Pumpkin Spice Pretzel Bites – These are almost too easy to make, you are gonna need the handy dandy Pillsbury biscuit dough and cut in small pieces. Roll them up in balls and coat with a mixture of warm water, melted butter, and baking soda. They go in the oven for about 15 minutes then when done, toss in sugar and pumpkin spice.
- Churro Cheesecake – For this dessert it is the best of both worlds, combinations of two delicious treats. You will need the Pillsbury crescent dough, you roll that out on a casserole tray without taking them apart. On top of it sprinkle some cinnamon sugar, then add your cheesecake mixture. Over that you are gonna repeat the process and add another later of dough and cinnamon sugar, then pop in the oven.
