5 ways to keep yourself safe and healthy during the Pandemic
The numbers of COVID-19 cases are still at an alarming level since the first outbreak in December of 2019. Therefore, everyone should still be thinking about staying safe and staying away from the virus. There’s no telling when the virus is expected to completely go away, but there are many ways to decrease the chances of contracting the virus and spreading it to others.
I am going to share 5 of the easiest ways to stay safe and healthy from COVID-19.
5 Ways To Stay Safe During The Pandemic
1) WEAR A MASK!!!
Wearing a mask is one of the easiest ways to keep you and others from getting COVID-19. All you have to do is buy masks, which are sold everywhere, and wear them anytime you go out. Some may argue that masks make it harder to breathe, but it’ll definitely be harder to breathe when you have COVID-19 infecting your lungs. Wearing a mask also keeps others safe as well by keeping more saliva particles from spreading through the air.
2) Stay home
Staying home is probably one of the hardest ways to stay safe on the list since many of us have to get groceries and leave the house for other reasons, but it is one of the most effective. No contact with other people equals no contact with COVID-19. You should avoid going out unless it is essential or important.
3) Wash and sanitize
COVID-19 is likely to be on surfaces you touch every day so you should wash your hands with soap and sanitize them anytime you touch anything that has been around others. Don’t forget that 30 seconds are needed to sanitize from washing, so sing the birthday song in your head as you lather the soap.
4) Stay away from others who are sick
You should be staying home, but when you go out to get essential keep an eye out for people who are sneezing or coughing and distance yourself. Better to be safe than sorry and avoid getting COVID-19.
5) Avoid touching your face
We all know that COVID-19 can stick to surfaces including your hands so you should avoid touching your face if you haven’t washed your hands.
I hope that these tips help you keep yourself and others safe from COVID-19. The more we keep ourselves from getting COVID-19 the quicker we will all be able to go out and see each other again. Stay Safe!
