It is February 27, 2025, which means Pokemon had a presentation today. It’s been 29 years since Pokemon was introduced on that date. A lot of things were announced. Here are some takeaways from it.

A new series called Pokemon Concierge was announced. It takes place at the Pokemon resort on a tropical island. It follows Haru and Psyduck as they grow together in the hotel. Instead of using anime, they use stop-motion animation.

Pokemon Go has an Unova tour that’s coming up on March 1 and March 2. They would encounter the Legendary Pokemon Black Kyurem and White Kyurem in raid battles. They would encounter shiny versions of shiny Aria by completing the Masterwork research, and shiny Victini with the Tour pass deluxe. You can also enter the promo code: GOTOURNOVA to encounter one of the Unova starters.

Pokemon ex-masters are introducing two new characters and Pokemon, May and Shiny Kyogre, and Brendan and Shiny Groudon. You could also log in to enter 3,000 gems between February 27 and March 27.  

There is a new recipe for Pokemon cafe remix called Appletun Fruitilicious Jelly Soda. Could you complete the event to have Appletun or Flapple? Pokemon Sleeps has added Darkon and Cresselia.

Pokemon Unite will add Suicunie Alolan Raichu and Alcrmie in 2025. The Remoat Stadium also returns from Thursday, February 27, to March 12. They are adding First to 500 battles, Aeos technology, and new wild Pokemon.

They are also adding new cards for the Pokemon trade card game. They also have a new Rotom phone case for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, and for a limited time, there will be mass outbreaks of Red, Green, and Blue along the Tera raids for the 9th-gen starters. 

A new game called Pokemon Champions is in development for Nintendo Switch, Android, and iOS. In it, players can use the Pokemon they catch in Pokemon Home and other games to battle other players. 

They also announced that Pokemon Champions and Pokemon Legends: Arceus would be available for Latin American Spanish. Pokemon TCG would also be available in Latin American Spanish. This is an attempt by the Pokemon Company to expand the Latin American region and hope millions of people can join the games.

Speaking of Pokemon Legends: Arceus, they announced an update to close the presentation off. They showed us new gameplay footage, new mechanics, and the mega evolution. They also showed us new characters for it. The battling system has also changed, allowing Pokemon to dodge attacks and other mechanics to make battles unique and interesting. You could also swipe Pokemon during fighting. It is coming out in late 2025. 

I’m excited to see the new games coming out, and I hope they will be worth it. We will see what happens next, especially since the Nintendo Switch 2 Direct is coming up on April 2. Watch more of the video on YouTube for the full experience.
