Just hours ago, the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and the Syrian Transitional Government (S.T.G) agreed to merge after meeting with the Syrian president and the SDF leader, Mazloum Abdi. In the agreement, the Syrian democratic forces will merge with the Syrian Army. They will also be recognized as citizens of the Syrian government and have their constitutional rights. They could also get autonomy.
In exchange, they will provide crossing checkpoints and facilities to the theatres and the airports. Hey, they are the latest group to join the Syrian Army. This comes as they were under pressure, as the United States was preparing to withdraw and Turkish militias were attacking them.
