Cheez-It crackers were introduced in 1921 by the Green & Green Company, a manufacturer of snack crackers in Dayton, Ohio, and were marketed as a “A Baked Rarebit.” Sunshine Biscuits then acquired Green & Green in 1932. Sunshine Biscuits then was acquired by the Keebler Company in 1996. Cheez-it’s are widely known and loved by many. Other brands have tried to recreate this beautiful masterpiece and failed. They can’t capture the real cheese flavor quite like ‘Cheez-it’.  No other cheese snack can compare to the 100% real cheese baked snack dressed and held in the big red box that they are packaged in.
