2021 Silverado RST
Chevrolet has finally released a new version of the Silverado. The Chevrolet Silverado 1500 RST which will cost around $43,000, and for the price you can get 420hp and 460lb-ft tq from a 6.2L V8. Sadly the power is there, but the looks stayed behind.
When you first look at the truck from the front it’s hideous, it looks like they just got done from the car collision testing. The headlights are very weird and awkward looking, and inside the headlight there’s carbon fiber look-alike. In reality it’s just plastic that’s shaped like carbon fiber and for only an extra $7,000 you can get the rally package that basically adds racing stripes. The Silverado has very good body lines, the lines don’t really pop in all lighting, but when they pop they pop very good.
The interior has the same GM infotainment system as any other Chevy. The cameras are surprisingly high resolution at least for Chevy. The actual interior is very open with a lot of cheap plastic. The interior in general isn’t so bad, but it’s not a premium interior. If it was Ram the expectation would be much higher. If you’re looking to buy the RST it’s a good truck for power, but other than that you’re better off buying something else.
