The rise of Wednesday and Jenna Ortega
Wednesday has become a top-watched tv series on Netflix beating Stranger Things for the most-watched series. What makes Wednesday so great for audiences is that it teaches viewers a lot of lessons. For example, we all need to have a good friend to be there for us as well as one that can see us for who we truly are, even if we freak some people out.
Jenna Ortega was born on September 27, 2002, in Coachella Valley, Palm Desert CA, She is currently 20 years old and is a rising star in Hollywood. Jenna was in movies like American Carnage, Scream, and one of her iconic Disney shows Stuck in the Middle.
Her love for acting started at the very young age of 6, but her parents weren’t thrilled with her passion for acting. Later on, Ortega displayed a show of her talents to her mother shocking her mother with the talent she had and how much this would mean the world to her. Her mother responded with: “ We will give it a shot.”
When her career was taking off Jenna had to grow up very fast and she struggled with being put in the public eye, but Ortega was still thankful and grateful for the opportunities she has been given and the accomplishments she has made so far in her career-making her an eye-catching young actress.
She and her character Wednesday are more similar than it may seem. Jenna loves disturbing things, is attracted to serial killers and monsters, and even when she was little she would perform autopsies on animals that were dead in her spare time. All these things in her life made her attracted to the character of Wednesday.
