Star Wars Battlefront is the first game in the series, released in 2004. It was developed/ published by Pandemic Studios and Lucas Arts. In the game, you fight with the enemy to capture command posts.
The game features several maps you can play through. You can play as four factions: The Republic, The C.I.S, The Empire, and the Rebels. There are different kinds of command posts. The green command post is your allies, the red command post is the enemy, and the white command post is neutral, meaning anyone can capture it. To win, you must either deplete enemy reinforcements to zero or capture all command posts and hold them off for 20 seconds to win.
I really liked the game because you can get into vehicles to mow down your enemies. You can use tactics in the game, making the outcome unpredictable. You can even give commands to lead a small squad of spiders to take a command post. There are some downsides, like if you want to switch to another soldier, you have to die or press respawn.

This game is almost perfect. You can move to get into vehicles. You can move to get to the enemy/ neutral command post, defend them using chokepoints, and finally, use tactics, which is the best way to win the game. You can even use galactic conquest to dominate the space system.
While the game was released in 2004, it is now available on Steam in 2019 and will be supported by multiplayer in 2020. My suggestion is to get this game because it is a blast to play.
