Charity basketball game held to support CHiPs for Kids
The fifth annual Cesar Chavez High School Staff vs California Highway Patrol basketball game was held on Wednesday, December 9, 2015. The game was part of the annual toy drive for the CHP. Staff included teachers, administrators, coaches, and former administrators. Staff won the first game, while the CHP won the second game. The staff won the next two years. The CHP pulled out a convincing win this year in the last 15 minutes of the second half. However, the real winners are the children who will pick out a toy the week before Christmas.
