There are many styles when it comes to wrestling like martial arts and the military hand-to-hand combat.There are a wide range of rules with both old and new styles in wrestling.

The number boys who participate in wrestling since the six grade level is over 270,000 nation-wide.  There are about 10,488 boys team in wresling. For women wrestling her grown to 804 to 8,727 since 1994. Since 2002 the number of wrestlers has grown to 40,000. The start of 2008, 42 new wrestling programs were established.
