Jayde Waite,16, is a sophmore, member of the Cesar Chavez wrestling team.

When asked why she joined the sport she said, “I wanted to try something new and wrestling was the perfect chance.”

She also stated, “I like wearing the outfit and I enjoy traveling to different places and meeting new wrestlers.”

For Jayde wrestling is something she is new too, and she enjoys all the benefits that it comes with such as traveling, and getting involved with different people.

Overall her goal is to wrestle at 116 pounds, and make it to state championship.
