Maria Chavez, sophmore at Cesar Chavez, Junior Varsity girls soccer says, “If you can’t stand for something, you’ll fall for anything”

Chavez says, “These past two years have been great ONLY because soccer. I’m so happy I decided to do soccer, I’ve found what i’m good at and enjoy.”

Dealing with school on top of soccer isn’t a problem for me, it’s all about maintaining your time right, and being extremely motivated to succed.

Maria says, “My biggest inspiration would have to be my family and teammates, not only do they try hard, but they get things done.”

“Soccer is a lot, but if it’s something that you truly have a passion for, I say go for it.”
