NFL WEEK 4 RECAP
Week 4 of the NFL season is in the books. Here is a quick recap of what occurred during week 4. Starting off with the Colts and Texans, this was a great game because they were fighting all the way to the end of the game. The two teams battled all the way through overtime and the game came down to the wire on a made field goal from the Texan’s kicker. While the Colts had a chance to win the game, they decided to go for a 4th and 4 with 21 seconds left on the clock leaving them without the victory in an early division game.
Another game that came down to the last seconds were the Lions and Cowboys. The lions took the lead on a Golden Tate touchdown just before the 2 minute warning. Then with 1 minute left to play, the Cowboys down by 2 and at the lions 41 yard line, Prescott threw a 30 yard pass to Elliot, putting them into field goal range for a 38 yard field goal to win the game.
Moving on to the Eagles vs Titans. In this game the Titans were ahead the whole game until Carson Wentz threw a touchdown passes to Jordan Mathews and Alshon Jeffery. The Titans answered back with a field goal and touch down of their own to sent the game into overtime. The Titans defense then stopped the Eagles offense and to get the ball back once again. After converting a 4th and 19, the Titans marched the rest of the way down the field and put another touchdown on the board to win the game sending their record to 3-1 and dropping Philadelphia to 2-2.
Finally, the closest game this week was the Bengals against the Falcons. This game came down to the final drive. The Falcons were up by 5 with 3 minutes to go in the game. The final drive was a thing of beauty as Tyler Boyd caught three 4th down conversions to save keep the drive moving. The game winning driving was capped off with a touchdown by A.J. Green.
